This is how it is delivered. The fact that it is pressed as a brick should make it clear that this is about the dry weight of the coco substrate.

Yes, maybe it is already a sterilization. Just not under pressure. It works well for me this way, I have to do it this way because I can only sterilize this amount of substrate with many passes in the steam pressure...

Before I inoculate the substrate with the KB, I pasteurize it in the oven at 140 degrees for 3 hours and then leave it to cool in the oven for several hours. IMG20250115191946.jpg

Recipe (without) 630 g coconut substrate pressed as bricks.630 g vermiculite dry110 g gypsum4650 ml boiling water (possibly 200-300 ml less), if not pasteurized in the oven afterwards.
