I have experimented with various technical devices for many years and, at least as far as the Stropharia Cubensis, the "Mexican magic mushroom" is concerned, I have always come to the conclusion that it is not worth the effort. It grows between 8°C and 28°C, the temperature can fluctuate or be constant and it was always easiest and gave the best results in the cultivation bag.
Of course you can experiment and try things out, but the simpler the better....
