Hello, I have prepared a McKenna Maxikit box (let it soak in water for an hour with the lid on, dumped 150ml of water into the growbag, put the box in without the lid), but the sticker with which I closed the growbag at the top has come loose and the part stood open overnight. How dramatic is this? Is there anything I can do to compensate for any damage? Thanks in advance! Best regards!

Actually, it shouldn't make much difference. I used to open my bags regularly to air them until I read that it was better to leave them open.

In the grow kits, the substrate is already fully colonized by mycelium. In this phase, the plant should be more resistant to mold than, for example, a completely fresh mycelium culture where the substrate is not yet fully colonized.

Your post was a while ago. Did it still work?

@photon Thank you for your answer, yes it worked anyway, I was unsure as it is my first attempt.
I press the old air out every morning and evening and close it again.

At the moment I'm a bit unsure when to harvest because there's not much happening in the middle and they're very small/flat.
I was told I could already harvest the larger ones and let the smaller ones grow.
