@david

Hello,

I am also new and unfortunately still haven't ordered anything, which I would like to change now.

I would like to do the latter in your message. So buy a larger bag and then dry it, as I would like to get by with it for as long as possible without reordering and I also have a sensitive stomach.

What is the best way to dry them? Do I really need a heating mat or can I also use "household products"? How long do they need to dry?

When the truffles are dry, they are rock hard as far as I understand. How do I get the microdoses? Should I cut the truffles into "crumbs" before drying them?

Thank you very much!

Hello!

You can dry them on a heater if it is not too hot (max. 50°C) or lay them out on a table in a dry, warm room.

Small sclerotia are particularly suitable for microdosing, as they no longer need to be crushed. If you have large ones, you should chop them up before drying and pulverize them with a grinder after drying.

When drying chopped sclerotia, a heating mat or dehydrator is recommended.
