How do you get the cake out of its tin as contamination-free as possible to harvest mushrooms from the side and the bottom?
Or even if the cake is to be stood on end?
Touching will probably be rather bad, right?
Falling upside down could possibly injure the mycelium...
If surfaces and tools are required for this, what material do they have to be made of? Stainless steel?
If the cake is watered after the first harvest, do you have to be careful that the top layer doesn't get wet?
All you need to do is wash your hands thoroughly. I also always try not to touch the cake more often than necessary.
I try to keep the fluff on top as dry as possible when watering. When harvesting, make sure to remove everything from the mushroom, even small pins that haven't had time to grow into large mushrooms. I tried it, nothing grew bigger after the harvest.

Es ist besser ihn mit dreckignen Fingern anzufassen, als denn man Seifen- oder noch schlimmer: Desinfektionsmittelreste auf den Fingern hat oder "Anti-baketriell beschichtete Handschuhe nutzt. Gifte von Menschen entwickelt, Pilze zu vernichten sind extrem gefährlich für Pilze.
Am besten sind gewaschene Händer, mit sehr gut abgespülter Seife.
Beim Wässern sollte grtad die obere Schicht gut feucht werden, damit es dort wächst. Wo es "aussen trocken" ist, dort wachsen keine Pilze, was besonders für die klassik-Kits mit Deckschicht gilt.
Möglichst keine Werzeuge benutzten, nichts reparieren wollen. Je besser die Lebensbedingungen für den gweünschten Pilz sind und um so schlechter die für Kontaminationen, um so besser funktioniert es...
