Hello everyone,

My name is Giampaolo and I am delighted to be part of this community.

I am very interested in the therapeutic use of psychedelics and have already made two cautious attempts with magic truffles as part of a microdosing protocol. I followed the recommended schedule exactly: six days of intake, one day break.

Unfortunately, I had to stop both attempts after two weeks as I felt an increase in anxiety.

I used a normal microdose of approx. 1 gram for the first trial.

The second time I tried it, I proceeded very carefully and only took the amount of a small crumb - unfortunately with similar results.

As an addendum: I am currently in the process of slowly weaning off clonazepam (Rivotril) after taking it for over 20 years. Since March 2025, I have been in burnout due to illness with severe anxiety and social withdrawal. I am now hoping for stabilization and long-term recovery.

I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas, experiences and inspiration - maybe I've overlooked something or it just wasn't the right time yet.

Best regards

Giampaolo

Hello!

It's good that you are writing about your experience. If even such extremely small amounts already have a strong effect, it will probably be related to the long-term use of the drug. I have not read any other such reports so far.

Perhaps it makes sense to dry the sclerotia, pulverize them and then mix e.g. 1g into 50g warm honey and then only take a little bit of Hobig at a time, so that you can easily dose much smaller amounts to find the amount that has the opposite effect.

(Principle of homeopathy: dilute until the opposite effect occurs)

@david Unfortunately, I don't want to try any more because I actually had to increase my benzodiazepine dose a bit due to my burnout. I honestly had false hopes after reading that some people were able to reduce their antidepressants with microdosing. But obviously the interaction with benzos is stronger and can lead to negative side effects - for me, for example, more anxiety.

@giampaolo

Hi Paolo, I have similar problems as you describe and I have also taken benzos and methadone. I was on quite high doses and I had bad interactions with psyllocibine.

My experience is that opiates and benzos do not mix well with psyllocibine or the effects intensify and/or become unpredictable!!!!

You should stop taking the psychotropic drugs before taking Psyllocibin again, otherwise you will probably continue to have this problem!

Please don't do that anymore, it's very dangerous!!! The benzos alone but mixed with other drugs and then Psyllocibin... It should be clear that this is not good!

Please trust me on this, I have more than 20 years of experience with this and similar things!

Psyllocibin works best when you have nothing else "in"...

In my case, the depression and the stupid feeling have gone since I started microdosing. However, I have stopped everything that didn't have to be and am currently still in the process of "balancing out" the methadone completely. The Psyllocibin even helps with that. Not necessarily against the pain, but against the "head cinema"...

You should definitely try it again when you are "clean"! Then it will probably work differently, but it doesn't have to be 100%, maybe you just don't tolerate one of the substances from the mushrooms.

You should keep that in mind!

I wish you every success in your fight and keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

MfG flO
