Hello,
I have a few questions about cultivation and this topic:
1. light? Yes/No? I have been giving 4 hours of blue light (plant lamp) a day since yesterday. Otherwise the room is completely dark. I have now read that the mushrooms need indirect light.
2. the bag that came with the order now has one or two small holes in it due to the paper clip. Is that bad?
3. there is no condensation on the bag. Bad?
4. i have ordered a nutrient solution, how do i get the spores into it later?
5. after the first harvest the box should be watered. Which water do I use? Tap water, distilled water or boiled water?
I have ordered:
Magic Mushroom grow kit (100% mycelium) - 1200cc / Golden Teacher
and
Liquid nutrient (sterile) × 1
10ml
Thank you already
Best regards

Hello!
1. indirect light should be used. Plant lamp will probably work.
2. no, tape it shut with adhesive tape. No water gets into the bag, so it doesn't matter.
3. normal for this type of kit. Too much moisture is never good, you don't need to ventilate with this one!
4. difficult. Normally you take spores or liquid culture from an ampoule and use sterile syringes. If you want to use the grown mushrooms for self-cultivation, I recommend the spore cap method from Lilli's free cultivation guide.
5. tap water that contains chlorine is bad. Distilled water, still drinking water from a bottle or boiled tap water (to remove chlorine) is OK.
