MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome) is an autoimmune disease. The disease is not recognized in Germany.

In this thread we want to collect information about it!

  • Dinna : Hello dear community. My sister suffers from MCAS (mast cell activation syndrome), an autoimmune disease. The disease is not even recognized in Germany. I wanted to ask if anyone here has any experience reports of this disease with MCAS? At the moment she can only eat meat. I hope that if I can share my own experiences in the next few months, I can encourage her to consider this option or to give it a try
  • Truffle goblin : Hi Diana, it's great that you're here, it's an inflammatory allergic symptom triggered by overactivity of the mast cells. Mushrooms or truffles can inhibit inflammation and thus possibly bring about an improvement. At worst, you won't notice anything. What is important for the body is omega 3, vitamin D, magnesium. Turmeric, barley grass, aloe vera and herbs can be helpful.
  • Truffle goblin : It has been shown that psilocybin may have anti-inflammatory effects by modulating the immune system and reducing inflammatory processes in the brain. It also contains baeocystin norbaeocystin, which are structurally related to psilocybin, but their potential anti-inflammatory effects are still poorly understood. What I can confirm from my own experience is that I have suffered from knee pain caused by inflammation since I was a child. Since I've been microdosing it's been so good

Thank you very much.
I'm going to do some educational work first and hope that she might get involved, even if it's just the information. She is at such a low point that she is grasping at straws. I just hope to find people who can share their experiences with her to allay her fears or prejudices.

🙏

Magic mushrooms also contain beta-glucans, as do many other mushrooms, possibly beta-glucans, which are known for their immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties. Initial results to date suggest that psilocybin has not only psychological but also physical anti-inflammatory effects.

Just to get out of the fear and out of this low point would be a start, because it can only heal both, when the mind is sick the body gets sick, just as when the body gets sick the mind gets sick. Everything is interconnected. Diet is also important, which is not easy with this disease because some foods release histamine
