I have been taking Zaubertrüffel 0.5 for 2 weeks and so far I feel really good.
For 3 days, Line's Mane 2 capsules, which I also seem to tolerate.
QUESTION: I WOULD LIKE to take Flipi/ fly agaric powder because of my pain syndrome, arthrosis, fibromyalgia.
Can I take the FP with the two above or would I prefer to take it separately?
Looking forward to an answer 🫶
As for the fly agaric in general: it cannot be cultivated, so it always has to be picked in the wild, which basically means that there are massive differences in the concentration of the active substances. We have received predominantly negative comments on all commercial suppliers, but this does not mean that there are not many positive experiences from their customers in absolute terms.
In the Netherlands, toadstools are explicitly banned in the same way as magic mushrooms, so Lilli cannot offer toadstools of "guaranteed high quality".
Since it is relatively easy to find and pick fly agarics in the fall, I recommend using only fly agarics you have picked yourself, which you dry and powder yourself so that you have a quantity of powder with consistent strength that will last you until at least next year's harvest.
Fly agarics themselves are much less well researched - one could say not scientifically researched at all - than magic mushrooms and there are indications that prolonged use for microdosing could be agression-promoting.
Fly agarics can become extremely strong when combined with magic mushrooms or sclerotia. Normally, even 10g or even 20g of dry fly agaric is not psychoactive, but if you microdose magic mushrooms or sclerotia, it can happen that you experience hour-long trips with 1g of fly agaric.
Almost everyone experiences intensified dreams with fly agarics, often of a sexual nature, and there is evidence that they can be used in a similar way to antibiotics (which is actually also a mold).
After this brief preface to the answer: In principle, there is nothing to be said against trying combinations. There are also people who experience very strong psychotropic (mostly unpleasant) effects from Lion's mane - most people do not notice any psychotropic effects.
If you combine, you should do it on days when you don't need to be on the road or in a dangerous situation. If you could just lie in bed all day and daydream, there's nothing to stop you trying out how you react to combinations.
If you then realize that it would be better to take turns, then you have the answer to the question. The fact is that everyone is different and while one person eats a lot of everything and hardly notices anything or nothing at all, the effects are extremely strong in others.
Long-term damage is not to be expected, so there is no need to be afraid of damage to health, such as that caused by "drug use" or "alcohol use", and such a combination is certainly not addictive. It is more likely that you will never want to try it again...
But it is impossible to say how strong - or whether it is noticeable at all. This can also be due to the current "body chemistry" of the person taking it - or to something they have eaten or not eaten before and would not associate with it at all. Nature is a mystery and ultimately everyone can only find out for themselves how they react to something.
Generally speaking:
1 The high-dose combination of magic mushroom & fly agaric can produce the most powerful psychedelic experiences naturally achievable.
2. microdosing magic mushrooms and sclerotia is safe and beneficial, more so for some and less so for others, but never really dangerous
3. microdosing fly agarics seems to help some people, others see it rather negatively, there could be long-term negative consequences
4. the microdosed combination of magic mushrooms / sclerotia and toadstools sometimes seems to produce very unpredictable effects and should only be tried if you have no "dangerous commitments in the real world" (road traffic, work, group hiking in high mountains...) to be on the safe side. There are not enough studies or information available to me on the extent to which it helps particularly well with certain health problems. I think it's worth a try if the magic mushroom/sclerotia microdose, possibly with hedgehog's mane, doesn't seem to be very helpful.
I started with fly agaric last year before I came to the truffles, I have to say I took it more in the evening as a tea and I have to say I slept well and had very intense dreams. When I started microdosing the truffles, I took the truffles in the morning after breakfast and occasionally a Flipi tea in the evening. You can do that sometimes. But I have become a mega fan of truffles.
Collecting, drying and preparing fly agarics is always fun. I also used to make "holy flow" from fly agarics, maybe I'll mention the instructions here at some point, but as far as the fly agaric powder sold is concerned, some people have complained about sand in the powder and inconsistent - or low - quality - which is understandable, of course, because they have to be picked wild (incidentally, this is also forbidden in Switzerland for private individuals for their own use on pain of punishment, because the Swiss are serfs of the pharmaceutical industry. Passive euthanasia with pharmaceutical suicide poisons is legal for Swiss citizens, but self-healing with pure nature? No way, basic human rights are blithely overridden, the pharmaceutical profit must not suffer! Hardly any other country in the world is as hypocritical in terms of human rights as Switzerland).
So I don't want to sound like I'm trying to denigrate wonderful fly or even pather mushrooms. But pick them yourself, there's no mistaking them and they often grow near chapels and old crossroads in forests... in Volkel near ProviThor in parks and front gardens you can find them by the kilo at the right time...
I'm right there with you, true words. I've collected and dried them myself, but they're not really my thing. You can do it sometime.
I've tried it once so far and found myself very relaxed, at peace with myself and communicative - but not overly communicative - for several hours. It also seems to have done something to the perceived gravity. My body felt much lighter. I would do it again. I did some reading at the time. The substance that works at the end is supposed to be metabolized in the liver, and alcohol consumption in parallel was therefore discouraged. I would have to look for the source of this information myself.
