1st harvest - growth slows down

I harvested my first crop of about 40 grams and now the growth is very slow.
I have a lot of mushrooms on the edge of my grow box that don't grow out.
Unfortunately, I also bruised the stems when harvesting and they turned green.
I tried to remove the remains of the stems as far as I could.

What are the next steps for the 2nd harvest or is the 1st harvest not yet ready?
- Remove mushrooms from the edge of the box or leave them in before watering?
- Or is the grow box contaminated because of the bruised stems and there will be no next harvest?

After the first harvest, I watered the grow box and put it in the cold for 1 hour.
It takes about 1 week and then a large mushroom came back from the edge.
This time I didn't put the mycelium in the box again but placed it on a plate.
The mushroom then had about 17 grams when fresh.
Now comes a second one after harvesting the first mushroom.
Is there nothing more to come?
Or do you have to let the mycelium rest first?

@Boris I think it would be best to take the mushroom cake out of the plastic box and stand it upright so that the mushrooms have space. It's probably best to leave it in the bag and not touch it directly with your fingers because of contamination. So somehow maneuver with your fingers on the outside of the bag.

But I'm a total mushroom beginner myself. For example, I've read here about refrigerating after soaking - I completely overlooked this when I first tried it and will probably do the same for my next attempts. The instructions also say something about 12(!) hours, and not just one hour. Maybe my yield of mushrooms will be better next time. I just remembered that I weighed them after drying and not before.

I think it's a good idea to remove all the mushrooms before re-watering so that nothing starts to rot in the bag or box. I'm going to order another breeding box or two in the next few days. Now that I've messed around with honey for the first time, the storage problem is solved for me.

@photon Hi, thank you for your input.
I'll have to take a closer look at the instructions to see if it doesn't say 1 hour.
I took the mycelium out of the box and put it on a plate in the bag.
Unfortunately only two more mushrooms.
I now put the mycelium back into the box and put it back into the cardboard box and then into the cellar.
After the Easter vacation, another attempt at watering...
Otherwise I'll probably have to get a new grow box... 👍

According to the article "Take out the mycelium cake, or better not?", I read that it is probably better to leave it in.
